Stephanie Hill, RN, MSN, CRNP
I am an experienced Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner with over 12 years of specialized expertise in Otolaryngology. My career spans more than a decade at UAB and in private practice, focusing on inpatient and outpatient ENT care, particularly in rhinology, otology, and other head and neck disorders. My expertise enables me to provide exceptional care to patients with a wide range of ENT conditions. I hold both undergraduate and master’s degrees from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), where I built a strong foundation in clinical care.
Joseph Powell, RN, MSN, CRNP
Board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in ENT. Earned a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from UAB, with diverse experience in emergency medicine, cardiac catheterization, and abdominal transplant, dedicated to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care in the private practice setting.
Elise Sessions, MSN, FNP-C
My name is Elise Sessions. I am originally from Birmingham, AL. I went to Auburn University for my BSN and obtained my MSN from UAH. I am a Family Nurse Practitioner. I have always been interested in ENT and so happy to be part of the ExcelENT team. I am married to Landon and have a 6 month old. In our free time, we love to try a new coffee shop, go on walks, and cheer for Auburn. Cannot wait to meet you in clinic!
Janice Sullivan-Stoll, MM, MS, CCC-SLP
Janice Sullivan-Stoll holds a Master’s Degree in Communication Disorders from the University of Texas at Dallas and a Master’s Degree in Voice Performance from Florida State University.
Maddie Briscoe, Au.D
Maddie is originally from Memphis, Tennessee. She attended the University of Mississippi, where she graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2018. She then went on to the University of Memphis to pursue her doctorate degree in audiology and moved to Birmingham in 2021 to complete her 4th Year Clinical Externship. Maddie graduated with her Doctor of Audiology from the University of Memphis in 2022. Maddie has been with Excel ENT since July 2022.
