Speech Language Pathologist

Amy Pittman obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Communicative Disorders from the University of Alabama, graduating summa cum laude. She then earned her Master of Science from Auburn University, where she completed her Master’s Thesis in the acoustic measurement of voice. Since then she has gained experience as a speech-language pathologist in a variety of medical settings, both in the U.S. and the U.K. In 2017 she was awarded an NIHR-funded clinical research internship at the University of Kent in Canterbury, England. She is a certified member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, and her professional interests are primarily voice and swallowing disorders. In her spare time, Amy enjoys reading, traveling, playing piano, and singing with the Alabama Symphony Orchestra Chorus.
